Ist a nice and simple place sorrounded by nature. if your looking for a queit place to relax enjoy forest, lake and sauna, this is a good option. You will need a car to reach it and to be able to see for example nationalparks or whatever you like to do.

A fantastic place, Mikko is a great host with excellent communication and great attention to detail.

The properties are beautifully secluded on an equally beautiful lake in a stunning area. We were here with our two daughters aged 8 and 6 and they had a great time and a real experience of unspoilt nature. They really enjoyed rowing, fishing, exploring the woods and nearby lakes and picking berries.

The cottage is in a very peaceful and beautiful place. Complete silence, the wood all around, when you’re there you don’t hear or see any other human! It is a very decent cottage with all the amenities you would need. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen works well, the sauna too. Staying at Mikko’s cottage has been a very relaxing experience.

This is a wonderful place! Mikko is an excellent host and everything was exactly as described…the nature and surroundings were beyond expectation. This is a place I’d like to return again and again. In fact, it was difficult to leave. If you want a place to take it easy, plan, contemplate life at the water’s edge and listen to the wind in the trees, I can’t imagine a better location. Thanks, Mikko, for your kindness, great communication and hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful place! The cottage is comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful, it’s perfect to relax and enjoy the nature. Highly recommended!

I was looking for a secluded place in Finnish nature – and this is it. The cottage is beautifully located in the woods, next to a lake, having sun the whole day. It was so quiet that I could hear nothing but the wind in the trees and in the fives days that I’;ve stayed here, I only saw other people once (in a rowing boat). The cottage is well equiped with bed linen, towels, a shower (with water from the lake), and an oven – and as a bonus, Mikko just installed wifi. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace and quiet in the Finnish nature.

Second time I was there and still a great place! We were there with 3 couples and a baby, we had a very good time!

Communication with Mikko was fast and clear.

Juuri kiva mökki omiin tarpeisiin! Sai olla rauhassa, heittää aamuisin hölkkälenkit hiljaisuudessa jonka jälkeen suoraan uimaan. Koirat nauttivat myös paikasta, mikä oli itselleni tärkeä kriteeri. Uimapatjat tuli mukaan reissuun myös ja olivat kovassa käytössä. Iso plussa Mikolle nopeista vastauksista ja vuokraamisen vaivattomuudesta.

Kiitos, paikka oli hieno! Järvi lähellä ja mökki oli siisti. Voisimme tulla uudelleen! Omassa rauhassa sai ehdottomasti olla. Erityiskiitos siitä, että lemmikit ovat tervetulleita!

Dieser Ort ist einfach wunderschön, für alle geeignet, die einen Urlaub mitten in der Natur mögen. Der Ort ist ideal zum fischen( Ruderboot vorhanden) und die Natur zu geniessen. Die Cottage ist einfach aber gut ausgerüstet- vor allem die Küche lädt zum Kochen ein, evtl. Könnte noch Öl, Salz und Pfeffer zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Einzig mit dem Plumsklo ausserhalb der Cottage konnten wir uns nicht richtig anfreunden. Aber sonst war es wirklich wunderschön!

I can’t stress enough that this place was better than advertised. It was summer, and the weather was perfect during our stay. So we basically just alternated between taking rides in the boat, swimming near our private dock, picking wild blueberries outside the cottage, grilling food near the lake, and playing darts outside. Maybe I’m just not used to this, because I’m American, but wow this place was cool.

Mikkos place is an oasis in the middle of nowhere! absolutely amazing! back to the roots and into the wild. adventure with fishing on the lake, of corse there is a little boat, hiking trough nomansland, deep relaxation enjoying the finnish sun and latenight dinner with a glass of wine. We LOVED it. Mikko is a superhoast and everything was clean and ready for us. Thank you so much!

good place

If you are looking for a secluded place away from the busy life of our modern society, this is the place to go. Hike through the beautiful woods, take tours with the boat on the lake or just sit outside, enjoy a cup of tea, read a book and recharge your energy. This is one of the few places left on this planet where you still find untouched nature and no mass tourism. Mikko, our host is a great guy and has been super helpful and very responsive from the begin to the end. I highly recommend the location and would book it again at any time.

Mahtava mökki. Ei mitään valittamista. Sieltä löytyy omaa rauhaa ja hiljaisuuttakin. Kaikkia tarvittavaa on ja isäntäkin on tarvittaessa tavattavissa. Hyvin selkeätä ja toimivaa! Olimme viihtyneet hyvin siellä kahdesta.

Paikka oli älyttömän kaunis, siisti ja rauhallinen. Hyvin perinteistä suomalaista maisemaa ja mökkeilyä. Ohjeet todella selkeät sekä suomeksi, että englanniksi. Iso peukku 😊
