Mikko’s place is perfect for the secluded getaway with family or friends. The house is situated by itself overlooking a lake. There are no neighbours. It was very calm and relaxing. You definitely need a car to stay here!

We were 2 couples, and came away for a weekend break. The scenery was beautiful and for me personally I loved how secluded it was – just nature and nothing else. It was 10k to the supermarket in Orivesi and a 25 minute drive to the nearest national park.

The house was better equipped then my own kitchen, the beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The sauna was also great.

I would fully recommend a weekend here and hope to come back in the summer to enjoy more of the house and surrounding area!

This is a beautiful cottage with a fabulous view and good equipment ! It was a very pleasant weekend, we hope to be back this summer! 🙂

Mikkos house is awesome! Everything you need is available and the house has got a nice stile. The little sauna directly in the house is great! Who is looking for a quit nice house will find it here.

The place is great. Area is quiet and remote, all that you would expect for a relaxing time in a Finnish cottage. The cabin is also equipped with all the modern commodities, so no worries there, and the host has been very accommodating !

We spent nice New Year week in this beautiful and comfortable house.

Host was very helpful and welcome. Cottage is warm in cold days and has enough open space area in living room. Also sauna is cool! we used it every day. Thank you Mikko and your family!

We had a great time at Mikko’s cabin – it was comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Mikko was a great host and communication with him was easy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly!

La descripción de la casa es exacta. Lo que más nos ha gustado ha sido que cuenta con una magnifica sauna, unas estupendas vistas al lago que se sitúa a pocos metros frente a la casa, una terraza donde relajarse viendo el lago, y la paz y tranquilidad que te da el entorno alejado de la civilización, la casa está rodeada de puro bosque, una maravilla. Además, el dueño de la casa, Mikko, se mostró muy simpático y fue sencillo y rápido contactar con él, de un día para otro alquilamos la casa sin ningún problema. Recomendable 100%.

Schnelle und einfache Kommunikation über SMS. Ankunft und Abreise waren super organisiert. Lage und Größe des Hauses zusammen mit dem hervorragendem Preis, ist dies definitiv ein Geheimtipp für Finnland Fans.

Hieno hyvin varusteltu mökki, lyhyt matka isolta tieltä. Mikko oli todella joustava aikataulujen suhteen ja vastasi nopeasti. Yllätyimme positiivisesti mökille saapuessamme, mökki oli mielestämme vielä viihtyisämpi kuin kuvien perusteella vaikutti. Tarkkasilmäisenä huomaa, että jotkin yksityiskohdat ovat jo aika kuluneita, kuten saunan lauteet. Mutta pienet puutteet ei haitannu meidän viihtyvyyttä ja ehdottomasti voisimme tulla uudestaankin!

Wir hatten eine super Nacht in Mikkos Hütte ! Kommunikation war überragend, sehr nett und in der Hütte alles sauber und wie beschrieben. Tolle Location, wie man sich Finnland eben vorstellt .!

We spent two nights at this beautiful cottage and we enjoyed every moment we had there! The place was amazingly peaceful but not yet completely isolated. The cottage we found there was far above any expectation and we really loved spending our time there to experience Finland at its best! _x000D_

The cottage really had everything needed and the barbecue-house as well as the private Sauna made our time there more than perfect!_x000D_

Mikko welcomed us more than warmly and even arranged to pick us up from the bus station what left us completely speechless. We got to know Mikko as a very nice, open-minded and courteous person that did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible._x000D_

A perfectly authentic Finnish experience!

Mikko answered swiftly and comprehensively to my booking request. I stayed only for one night in the cottage and I was very satisfied. Nice place on a shore slope of Lake Längelmävesi, with a separate sauna building. Silent place (nearest cottages 100 m away), without any traffic or other kind of noise.

Ihanan rauhallinen paikka, todella tunnelmallinen mökki, sauna, grillikatos, oma ranta ja oma rauha. Myös koiran sai ottaa mukaan, sellaisia paikkoja ei ole aina helppo löytää. Varaus lyhyellä varoitusajalla onnistui ja ulos- ja sisäänkirjautuminen oli joustavaaa. Suosittelen!

I stayed here for two nights and I enjoyed the stay more than I expected. I just stayed there to get relaxed and I didn’t use my car. The place is quiet hidden. The traditional wood sauna is awesome: I used in the morning and the evening. Rowing boat from the private beach is really really something. I picked up wold blueberry and lingonberry. Mikko kindly brought me a few used bottle and sugar for my making jam at the cottage. Hopefully, I’ll come back again with my family sometimes.

We stayed four nights at this cottage and loved every second of it!

Mikko gave us a very friendly welcome. The cottage is quite beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It’s far from basic – you’ve got electricity, running (cold) water, a fully functional kitchen with a fridge and a stove.

There are plenty of other cottages around the lake, so you are not completely isolated. However, the nearest neighbour is far enough away to give you all the privacy you need.

Having a private sauna was awesome and of course, we spent all of our evenings there. The rowing boat was a big plus!

This was probably the best part of our vacation in Finland and we can definitely recommend it.

Ce séjour fut simplement sublime. Que dire du site somptueux: un pur cliché de la Finlande que nous étions venu chercher, de la qualité du cottage, de calme absolu, le ponton, la barque et le sauna (deux même car l’un est dans la maison et l’autre est dehors). _x000D_

L’aménagement du cottage est très bien et tout est fait pour passer un moment agréable. Pour les courses, il faut prendre sa voiture (obligatoire vu l’endroit) pour Orivesi à 12km._x000D_

Nous ne rêvons que d’une chose : revenir en hiver!
