My husband and I had a great time in the cottage celebrating our wedding anniversary. A beautiful, quiet, rustic and still romantic place. Highly recommend!

The cottage is in a really quiet area next to a wonderfull lake. We loved to make some little trips with the boat and warm up in the Suana. Perfect to relax a few days!

If you want an natur experience just as stated in the description, this is the place to be. We had a fantastic time. Mikko and his wife are awesome hosts. They put extra effort in our stay and we really felt that they wanted us to have a great time there!! its even nicer there than on the pictures! 😀 thanks Mikko & Eija

Das gemütliche Haus am See ist perfekt geeignet um sich ein paar Tage zu erholen. Es ist ruhig und hat alles vor Ort was benötigt wird. Ca. 25 Min. entfernt liegt Orivesi wo es auch grosse Supermärkte gibt.

We stayed in a brand new cottage with good space for 2. There was a good spot to the lake. Kindly hosts.

My girlfriend and I just had the perfect stay. I had been to a lake cottage with a host family a few years ago and i wanted to live again the same amazing experience. After an accurate search we found this cottage of Mikko’s which had in the description a nice cottage, a bbq, a platform by the lake and a row boat for guest use, and, of course, a sauna. So, the nice cottage turned out to be a really comfortable one, with all sorts of modern amenities and brand new instruments for cooking and staying for a few days, also renovated recently. Super. The bbq (just built, spacious and easy to use) is in a separated wooden building and is also great, especially if it rains outside. Wood is provided as well as chalk bag. The row boat also works and it’s really nice to go for a tour around the lake (one of the row broke during our trip, but i’m sure Mikko will fix that soon!). Unexpectedly but veryvery welcome was the fishing equipment that Mikko provided for us! Finally, the sauna is spacious but shared with another cottage close (but not too close) to this one, and the great thing is that it is just less then 10 meters from the lake, so that you can swim as soon as you exit the sauna. We also went berry picking and mushroom picking and there is a huge variety and amount of them in rhe forest nearby, which is definitely a plus. Overall, we had a 5star + stay!! Absolutely recommended if you are looking for a place to spend a few days (or more) of relax and nature.

Our time in the cottage was just perfect, a secluded simple but perfect place to gain distance from everyday’s obligations. Highly recommended, and Mikko is a most responsible host who helps with any questions immediately.

If you want to experience the true Finnish mökki life this is the place to stay. A quiet house by a lake surrounded by forest, utterly wonderful !

The house is big, with a party of 5 it didn’t feel small at all. It is well furnished, clean and decorated with taste (for instance plates, bowls…in the kitchen are all Finnish design, it’s a very nice touch !).

It comes with everything you need and even more: sheets, towels, kitchen appliances, electronics, wifi, parking, a grill, a rowing boat to go fishing, 2 saunas (one electric inside and one wooden sauna by the lake) and a wood reserve for the sauna and the fireplace.

As it is the case for many mökkis, it is quite isolated which is nice for peace and quiet but that means the nearest grocery store is at 17 km. But with a car it’s a quick ride. It is also 1 hour away from Tampere, which is also enjoyable if you want to go visit the city.

We didn’t have the pleasure to meet the hosts but we communicated a lot through text and they were always quick to reply and help us.

To sum up, our stay there was pure perfection. I would be curious to see this mökki in winter. I hope I’ll be able to come again.

A small piece of heaven as far as I am concerned !The surrounding is extremely beautiful, the cottage is very comfortable and you can see the lake through the window of the sauna .Mikko gave us all the details before our stay, and was available to answer the few questions we had. It is simple and has everything you need in order to enjoy nature. The house is located by a beautiful lake, there is a boat and sauna. Hosts are warm and very easy to communicate with.

This is a perfect home for a vacation. I would strongly recommend for guests to come and stay here. The cottage is amazingly beautiful perched on a hill overlooking the lake. The decor and amenities are superb and the view from home is to admire. Overall memorable stay and a fabulous experience

Todella rauhaisa paikka, ei tv-netti ym. häiriötekijöitä. Polut mökin ympärillä jyrkät, ei välttämättä sovi kaikille. Luonto ympärillä ihana ja luonnontilassa.

This place is close to perfection if you want to experience an authentic Finnish cottage life. Welcoming host and really peaceful location where you can enjoy the nature and a wooden-heated sauna. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Great place, we were here with four people (cottage has beds for six). Lots of space and peace. The cottage was even better than advertised. Mikko has been very accommodating and communication was fast and clear! I would recommend this place to my friends.
