Lovely cottage, sauna and boat, 1 h away from Tampere
A comfortable cottage in the heart of nature, right on the shores of the peaceful Niemijärvi lake, is the perfect place to rest, fish, berry pick, mushroom pick, spot birds, hike and relax - or explore the countryside near Tampere.
The cottage has its own beach platform, and for your use there is a rowboat. The included indoor toilet, easy electric sauna, well equipped kitchen with microwave and working wifi make your time at the cottage comfortable. The rent includes firewoods and electricity. The linens, towels and final cleaning are available separately.

Huvikumpu cottage
The beautiful and traditional 40 m2 summer cottage near the blue lake offers you and your family a natural and peaceful holiday. The cottage comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 2 children.
COTTAGE GENERAL EQUIPMENT
The cottage has electric heating, functional wifi and a well-equipped kitchen. The fireplace brings both extra warmth and atmosphere. The rapidly heating electric sauna and the shower and toilet in the bathroom make the cottage comfortable.
Bedrooms
There are two bedrooms in the cottage. One has a 160 cm wide double bed and the other has a 80 cm bunk bed. If you need bed linen and towels, you can rent them separately from us at 10 e / person / stay.
KITCHEN AND GRILLING
The kitchen has the necessary cooking utensils as well as a dining table and tableware for six people. The kitchen is equipped with a hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer. The water is suitable for drinking and cooking.
SAUNA, SHOWER AND toilet
The cottage has a rapidly warming electric sauna, and the sauna room has a shower. The cottage has a toilet seat in the bathroom and there is an outside toilet in the yard.
YARD AND BEACH
There is a small terrace next to the cottage, where you can sit and enjoy the scenery. There is a private pier where you can take a dip in the swim. You have a rowing boat available, and on request we also provide boating vests.
FISHING
If you want to fish and you are 18-64, you must pay the state fisheries management fee. Example prices: 6e / 1 day, 15e / 7 day. The most convenient way to make a payment is through the Eräluvat online store. You can also rent a quiet electric outboard motor from us for 15eur a day.
PETS
Pets are welcome at this cottage! Please inform about pets when booking. Be sure to clean the animals' hairs from the cottage and furniture before you leave, and clean the yard from the garbage. Make sure that pets do not cause injury. You will be responsible for damages in both the cottage and the cottage environment.
LINEN AND TOWELS
FINAL CLEANING
You can pre-order final cleaning in advance or during your stay. The final cleaning costs 60 €. If you do the cleaning yourself, the cottage has the necessary cleaning tools and supplies. Clean up on the day of departure!
If you order a final cleaning, you still should do this:
• Wash the dishes and put them in place
• Take the garbage to a waste disposal site
• Collect bottles and cans in bags
• move furniture to original places
• leave linen in a stack on the bed
• Take away the groceries you bring with you
• If you have pets, clean the hair and clean the litter
If you do the final cleaning yourself, do the following in addition to the above:
• Vacuum the carpets
• wipe the floor with a damp mop
• wipe the tables and tops with a damp cloth
• ventilate bedding outdoors
• wash the toilet and sauna
• Take the garbage to a waste disposal site
LOCATION
The cottage is located in Orivesi, about 70 km from Tampere. The drive from Tampere is less than 1 hour and from Jyväskylä to 1.5 hours. To get to the cottage, you need a car. There is a parking space next to the cottage.
Other things to note
The cottage is best suited for adults who are able to move normally as there are differences in altitude and wooded terrain. We recommend that you include the outdoor shoes, warm and rainy clothing suitable for the cottage life, and rubber boots.
