Cottage hidden by the lake & beach sauna
The cottage - or really a hideaway - is a great place to retreat from the middle of everyday life! The log-built sauna has a private beach, and you can go fishing or rowing by boat. In the private, sand-bottomed swimming area, you can enjoy a dip in the water while taking a sauna in the traditional sauna.
The cottage has electric heating and running cold water. The rent includes firewood, electricity and a boat. Linen, towels and final cleaning can be ordered as an additional service. Welcome to enjoy the peace of nature, just an hour from Tampere!

COTTAGE GENERAL EQUIPMENT
The traditional 30 m2 cottage has a living room / kitchen, one bedroom, electric heating and running water. There is no shower, but the wood-heated beach sauna gives you a nice steam bath at the end of the day. The wonderful barbecue room in the yard has a wood-fired barbecue.

On the bedroom there is a 160cm wide double bed.
If you need linen and towels you can rent them from us separately for 10 e / person / stay.
SAUNA, SUIHKU JA WC
There is an ecological, composting outdoor toilet in the yard of Piilopirtti. From the traditional sauna you can swim up the stairs to the beach. The sauna receives cold water from the lake, which is heated in a tank on the side of the stove. There is no shower in the cottage or sauna. Washing takes place in the sauna with water traditionally mixed with a cotton wool.
KALASTUS
If you want to fish and you are 18-64, you must pay the state fisheries management fee. Example prices: 6e / 1 day, 15e / 7 day. The most convenient way to make a payment is through the Eräluvat online store. You can also rent a quiet electric outboard motor from us for 15eur a day. Eräluvat-verkkokaupassa. KEITTIÖ JA GRILLAUS
The living room / kitchen has cooking utensils, crockery and a dining table for two people. The kitchen includes an electric stove, coffee maker, kettle and fridge. The cottage is equipped with fresh water tap suitable for drinking and cooking. In the yard there is a magnificent barbecue room built of old logs with a wood-fired barbecue.
PIHA JA RANTA
The yard is in the woods and is rocky. The cottage has incredible views to the river! You can also go with the row boat for fishing or rowing. We will supply you with boating vests if you wish - let us know the sizes you need in advance.
LEMMIKKIELÄIMET
Pets are welcome at this cottage! Please inform about pets when booking. Be sure to clean the animals' hairs from the cottage and furniture before you leave, and clean the yard from the garbage. Make sure that pets do not cause injury. You will be responsible for damages in both the cottage and the cottage environment.

LOPPUSIIVOUS
You can pre-order final cleaning in advance or during your stay. The final cleaning costs 60 €. If you do the cleaning yourself, the cottage has the necessary cleaning tools and supplies. Clean up on the day of departure!
If you order a final cleaning, you still should do this:
• Wash the dishes and put them in place
• Take the garbage to a waste disposal site
• Collect bottles and cans in bags
• move furniture to original places
• leave linen in a stack on the bed
• Take away the groceries you bring with you
• If you have pets, clean the hair and clean the litter
If you do the final cleaning yourself, do the following in addition to the above:
• clean mats outdoor
• wipe the floor with a damp mop
• wipe the tables and tops with a damp cloth
• ventilate bedding outdoors
• clean toilet and sauna
• Take the garbage to a waste disposal site
LOCATION
The cottage is located in Orivesi, about 60 kilometers from Tampere. The drive from Tampere is less than an hour and from Jyväskylä 1.5 hours. To get to the cottage, you need a car. The parking lot next to Pirtti can accommodate one car.
MUUTA HUOMIOITAVAA
The bottom of the lake is naturally humus-rich, so the water in the lake is dark. The cottage is best suited for adults who are able to move normally due to differences in altitude. We recommend that you bring outdoor shoes, warm and rainproof clothing and rubber boots to the cottage.
