Thank you for great stay! Everything was nice!

I needed good wifi for just one day in a quiet place and also needed to sleep one night before continuing a long drive. This cottage offered this for good price.

Rauhallinen mökkilomakohde. Mökissä kaikki kuten kuvauksessa kerrottukin. Tupakeittiö-olohuone oli jopa isomman oloinen kuin kuvista pystyi päättelemään. Pikkujärvellä vain muutama muu mökki, joten sai oleskella rauhassa. Laiturilta pääsee pulahtamaan veteen (pikkulapsiperheille tiedoksi, että rannasta ei voi mennä uimaan). Soutelu järvellä oli mukavaa – passelit pelastusliivit oli toimitettu mökkiin koko perheelle.

Hieno ja mukava mökki upealla paikalla. Isompi mökki ja terassi kuin miltä kuvissa näyttää, joten siitä lisää plussaa 😊 Keittiön varustelu hyvä, astioita ja ruuanlaittovälineitä hyvin. Majoittaja vastaa nopeasti, ystävällisesti ja asiallisesti, heidän vieraanaan kelpaa mökkeillä 🥰

Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien; een boot, sauna, fijne stoelen op het terras, spelletjes.

Ook met kinderen zeker een aanrader!

Ihanan rauhallinen mökki kauniissa ympäristössä! Puhdas järvivesi. Majoittajan kanssa viestiminen oli erittäin helppoa, vastasi nopeasti kysymyksiin.

Tässä kohteessa jotenkin aisti sen, että majoittajat ovat ottaneet jokaisen asian huomioon, ja haluavat panostaa vieraiden mukavuuteen. Esimerkiksi keittiö oli todella hyvin varusteltu. Erinomainen hinta-laatu-suhde!

Olimme mökillä pienen vauvan kanssa, kohde sopi siihen hyvin koska siellä oli juokseva lämmin vesi sisällä. Vaunut sai hyvin vedettyä mökille loivia portaita pitkin.

Yllätyin hieman kun mökillä ei ollut televisiota (kuvauksessa tämä olisi kyllä selvinnyt, mutta en huomannut). Luulisin, että helteillä mökki voi olla aika kuuma.

Wij konden optimaal genieten van de natuur met deze ‘hidden gem’. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, inclusief sauna. Daarna kun je het meer in om af te koelen of een rondje om het eiland varen. De wifi was goed genoeg om remote te werken. Een bonus was de barbecue die wij konden gebruiken. Aanrader!

Sehr schöne, ruhige Umgebung mitten in der Natur. Alles bestens: Haus, Sauna, Ruderboot und Schwimmen im See.

A lovely stay at this cabin. If you read the instructions clearly it’s easy to find and stay mindful of advice not to bring an unsuitable car for the road – this is off the beaten track but straight forward to get to! When we arrived we realsed there was no towels/linen but on contacting the hosts they promptly arrived with some – just a mistake, no problems. The cottage was clean & had all that we needed. The wooden pier was a little wonky but no problems, and the row boat & sauna were both great. It’s a peaceful & private cottage on a lovely lake. Thank you for having us.

I invited my elderly parents to Finland to enjoy the authentic Finnish summer cottage experience. They couldn’t have been happier with their visit. They were totally enthralled with what they encountered – the natural beauty of the setting, the absolute peacefulness, the simplicity of the lifestyle. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Indoor plumbing was a huge plus. Very much a place to get away from everyting and reset. Eat good food, read some books, sauna, swim, roam the forest, pick berries. And the row boat for exploring the lake was great for when you needed to expend some energy.

We had a great time at Mikko’s place. Mikko and his family are very responsive and helpful. There are plenty of things to do: dart, rowing boat, sauna and swimming in the lake, mölkky. The lake is a bit shallow and muddy at the bottom, but the water is clear and the lake is pretty nonetheless with plenty of waterlilies. The surrounding area is very peaceful and quiet. Sauna was great as well. Highly recommended.

Rauhallinen hyvä paikka. Perusmökki, joka ajoi hyvin asian.

Mökki oli oikein ihana ja niin kauniilla ja rauhallisella paikalla! Käytiin soutelemassa pienellä järvellä, istuskeltiin laavulla nuotion ääressä ja nautiskeltiin saunan löylyistä. Tilaakin oli mukavasti neljälle. Erityiskiitos majoittajille avusta yllättävän auto-ongelman kanssa!

Viihtyisä ja hyvin varusteltu mökki todella upealla sijainnilla

The cottage is well equipped and spacious. It is in the midst of a very quiet forest on Niemijärvi, surrounded by nothing else but nature. It is also a perfect base for exploring all the sights and parks between Tampere and Jyväskylä. And after an exciting day of hiking or sightseeing we enjoyed the sauna and the swimming in the lake.

Nautimme nuotiopaikasta, saunan löylyistä ja pulahduksista järveen. Ihastuimme upeaan maisemaan!

Beautiful cabin on a very quiet lake. We would recommend staying here for anyone who is looking for a getaway in nature. The cabin has everything you need to spend some relaxing days here.

We had a very pleasant stay at this cottage. The place is quiet and nature is great. I can highly recommend visiting the national parks nearby.

Viihtyisä mökki rauhallisella ja hienolla paikalla. Jos kelit olisivat olleet huonot, olisimme varmasti viihtyneet sisätiloissakin. Maisemia jaksaa katsella useammankin päivän.

A real Finnish cottage. Out in the woods at a lake, Fire place and Sauna. Just perfect.

Mukavan rauhallinen sijainti ja majoittaja oli hyvin asialla heti varauksesta lähtien. Tarvittavat tiedot tuli ilman kysymistäkin.

Mökistä löytyi kaikki tarvittava. Rauhallinen sijainti. Mielellään tullaan joskus uudelleenkin.

Ihanan rauhallinen mökki. Joka suuntaan avautuu maisema, jossa silmä lepää. Mökillä tuli monasti istuttua terassilla katsellen järvimaisemaa, veden välkettä ja vedessä uinutta kuikkaperhettä. Viiden päivän lomailu tuntui viikoilta ja lähtiessä oli täydellisen rentoutunut olo.

Mökissä on ikkunat neljään suuntaan ja jokaisesta niistä näkyy järvi! / The cottage has windows facing four directions, each one of them offers a view to the lake! – Pieni, hiljainen järvi, joka helteellä toimi olohuoneena. / – Small, peaceful lake, which served as a living room during the heat.

Rannassa oleva laavu ja tulisija toimivat mainiona tuki- ja tankkauspisteenä uinnin lomassa. / Wooden shed and fireplace by the pier served perfectly for rest and refill between swims. Tässä myös sopivat puut riippumatolle, tuo omasi. / Also perfect trees for hammock, bring your own. Hyvään oleiluun, en kaivannut mitään. / For good times, I didn’t miss anything.

Mukava perusmökki, josta löytyi kaikki tarpeellinen.

Ihana paikka!

Aivan mahtava paikka rauhoittumiseen ja luonnossa liikkumiseen. Erittäin rauhallinen paikka eikä naapurit häiritse vaikka muitakin mökikejä jonkin matkan päästä löytyykin. Järvi juuri passelin kokoinen souteluun. Mökissä on hyvin tilaa oleskeluun ja nukkumiseen. Keittiöstä löytyi kaikki tarvittava ruuanlaittoon, lisäksi hiiligrilli ja laavu plussaa!.Kannattaa patikoida ympäristössä, hienoa kallioista maastoa!

What can I say? You’ll experience the true Finnish way of kesämökki. It is super quiet, the lake is crystal clear and the cottage itself is simple and cosy. Just the way we like it. Mikko and Eija are both friendly helpful and kind. Thank you very much!

We had a lovely stay at Eija’s and Mikko’s cottage, a very peaceful place. Communication was easy and clear and we loved the sauna with a view.

This was an absolute gem! Such a peaceful and authentic summer cottage experience. A beautiful location, cute and well supplied house, nice sauna, open fire by the lake and a row boat. It was everything we hoped for and more. Only sad we could only stay for one night. We would love to come back one day!

Mökki sijaitsee todella kauniissa maisemassa (kuvat eivät kerro koko totuutta) ja järvellä oli erittäin hiljaista. Oli ihanaa uida, saunoa, lueskella laiturilla, grillata rannassa ja soutaa järvellä. Välillä yli lensi kurkia ja järvellä asustaa vesilintuja. Naapureita oli, mutta ei mitenkään ”näköetäisyydellä” ja ainakin omassa mökissämme oli rauhaisaa. Sääskiä tai muita ötököitäkään ei ainakaan näin heinäkuun lopulla ollut kiusaksi asti.

Relaxation and peace! Even though there are other cabins around you won’t be bothered by them. With your own private pier a dip in the lake and then a sauna were the favorite of our family‘s activities! The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed for a wonderful week. Highly recommended!

The location is really beautiful! We made short trips to the surroundings, enjoyed the fireplace in the evening and watched a still lake in the morning sun.

Oikein positiivinen kokemus!

Taianomainen paikka erämaajärven rannalla! Upeat männyt ja kalliot – taustaäänenä lintujen laulu. Muuten täysin hiljaista: ei autojen eikä moottoriveneiden mölyä. Ihana Niemijärvi, palaamme varmasti.

Mökki oli jopa mukavampi kuin kuvissa. Ihanan rauhallinen sijainti. Oma vene ja kivan sokkeloinen järvi soudella. Aivan loistava kokemus, tänne palaan vielä uudestaan.

Lovely summer cottage by the lake! Peaceful location with only few other residents nearby. Good sauna, swimming possibilities in the lake and rowing boat nice extra. Fast and helpful communication during our visit and convenient self check-in. Highly recommened!

The cottage is fine, but only partly renovated (kitchen and bathroom are not).

What a wonderful place to spend a family vacation! We especially appreciated the eco toilet, the easy access to the water for our little one (2 years old), the tons of blueberries waiting to be picked and Mikko and his wife always being available to us and supplying us with fresh drinking water every few days (much needed with up to 30 degrees…). We had a great time and definitely would recommend this beautiful place to everyone who is looking for some peace and quiet in beautiful Finnish nature.

Mikko’s house is a very traditional and simple house in a beautiful and very quiet nature. You can barbecue, take a rowboat or visit one of the many other lakes in the area. Of course there’s also a sauna 🙂 .We had a very nice week there.

Great stay! Everything needed was in the cottage!

It was a great couple of days at the cottage. Having a big lake almost entirely for yourself and a rowing boat to „conquer“ it is amazing.

The cottage is equipped with everything you need for barbecue, cooking or even making something in the oven. It is also cosy and spacious enough for a couple of rainy days at Niemijärvi.

A very special place! The cottage is in a very silent location. The own pier offers easy access to the lake. Inside the cottage there is everything one needs and it is very cozy. Very recommendable!

Ainutlaatuinen luonto ja yksinkertainen, luonnollinen mökki mukavuuksineen. Kaikki sujui moitteettomasti. Ihan harvinainen aitous ja koruttomuus hyvässä mielessä – ei mitään turhaa – kaikki tärkeä. Tällaista haluan.

The cottage is fabulous ! The location, on a private island, is also wonderful. You will enjoy a sauna (and swim in the lake after !), make your woodfire easily, go boating, pick berries in the garden or just chill in the recently renovated cottage. It’s just nature and only nature ! Thanks again for this little paradise.

The cottage is in a very peaceful and beautiful place. Complete silence, the wood all around, when you’re there you don’t hear or see any other human! It is a very decent cottage with all the amenities you would need. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen works well, the sauna too. Staying at Mikko’s cottage has been a very relaxing experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful place! The cottage is comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful, it’s perfect to relax and enjoy the nature. Highly recommended!
