The Metsähallitus permit area consists of seven separate sections in and around Orivesi. It is particularly recommended for grouse and hare hunting and is also well suited to hunters working with dogs.

Practical information for hunting guests
Does the cottage booking include hunting rights?
No. The booking covers accommodation and the services listed for the property only. Each hunter must hold a valid hunting card and the correct permit for the area and game species.
Can I bring a hunting dog?
House-trained, well-behaved pets are welcome at Villa Längelmä. Pets are not allowed at Villa Kiiltäväinen. Always check each property page for its pet policy.
Can game be stored at the cottage?
The cottages do not have a dedicated game-processing area or game cooler. Kitchen freezers are intended for ordinary food storage. Please arrange game processing and storage elsewhere in advance.
Can we arrive late?
Tell us your planned arrival time when booking. We will send property-specific check-in instructions before your stay.
