At Minttu, your holiday follows the rhythm of the lake, sauna and nature. Swim from your private jetty, take the rowing boat out, pick berries in the nearby forest and spend the evening by the fire.

Traditional cottage charm and effortless holiday days
Prepare your holiday meals in Minttu’s kitchen and continue cooking on the gas barbecue outside. The electric sauna and shower add comfort, while the cottage has a traditional outdoor toilet.
Electricity, firewood, Wi-Fi and a rowing boat are included. Bed linen, towels, final cleaning and an electric outboard motor can be added to your booking.
LIVING ROOM AND KITCHEN
Room for shared moments
The bright living room is made for cooking, eating and spending time together. The kitchen includes a cooker, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment.
A gas barbecue is available on the terrace.
SLEEPING
Peaceful nights for up to five guests
One bedroom has a 160 cm double bed and the other a 120 cm bed. The sofa bed in the living room provides two additional sleeping places.
You can bring your own bed linen and towels or order them ready for your arrival.
SAUNA
Sauna whenever you like
The electric sauna is easy to heat whenever you wish, and the washroom has a shower. After the sauna, cool off outside surrounded by nature.
Please note that the cottage has an outdoor toilet and no indoor WC.
SHORE AND SURROUNDINGS
Private jetty, rowing boat and lakeside peace
Swim or set out in the rowing boat from your own shore. The surrounding pine forest is perfect for berry picking, walks and quiet moments.
An electric outboard motor is available as an optional extra.
YARD AND BARBECUE
Cottage days continue outdoors
The terrace and gas barbecue invite you to spend long summer evenings outdoors. Parking is right beside the cottage.
Pets are welcome when included in the booking.

Everything you need before booking
Kitchen and amenities
Cooker, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, refrigerator and freezer compartment. Tableware and cookware for six.
Water
The cottage has running lake water. According to the current cottage information, the water is suitable for drinking and cooking.
Included in the price
Electricity, firewood, Wi-Fi, rowing boat and cleaning supplies.
Pets
Pets are welcome. Include them in your booking and remove pet hair and clean the yard before departure.
Sauna, shower and toilet
Electric sauna and shower. The cottage has an outdoor toilet and no indoor WC. Electric heating and a fireplace keep the cottage warm and cosy.
Shore and access
Private jetty and rowing boat. Parking is beside the cottage, and a car is practically necessary for reaching it.
Optional extras
Final cleaning, bed linen and towels, and an electric outboard motor can be selected when booking. Current prices are shown on the booking form.
Rental season
The cottage is available from May to September and is not in use during winter.

Internet connection
The cottage has a wireless Wi-Fi network with a speed of approximately 10 Mbit/s. The connection is fixed and does not depend on the weather.
The connection is suitable for email and browsing, video calls and remote work, music streaming, and standard online use.
Location and arrival
Orivesi, about 70 km from Tampere and around 1.5 hours from Jyväskylä. The nearest shops are in Länkipohja and Orivesi. Check-in is at 16:00 and check-out at 12:00.

We hadden een fantastisch verblijf. Het huisje is basic maar prima in orde, het uitzicht en het meer zijn adembenemend.
We had an amazing stay! Truly beyond excellent. Check-in and check-out were both seamless. We did run into a Wi-Fi issue, but the hosts resolved it within an hour so communication was 5/5.
The cabin itself is in a beautiful, remote location surrounded by nature—blueberries everywhere, a private sauna, and a lake right there. The privacy was outstanding.
We stayed for two weeks and are already planning to come back. Highly recommend!
