Kaikki sujui hyvin. Upeat maisemat!

Emplacement sublime et paisible donnant le sentiment d’un temps suspendu. Surplomber le lac était formidable et la nature environnante est dense et douce à la fois. L’utilisation de la barque tôt le matin et tard le soir a été une source de bonheur. (pêcher le brochet aussi)

Communication et instructions claire de la part de Mikko et Ejla. Nous reviendrons au printemps ou en automne dans les années qui viennent. Kiitos !

Le logement est très bien placé et l’hôte est compréhensif et réactif.

Je n’aime pas être cette personne, mais ayant pas mal d’expérience dans les mokki finlandais sur Airbnb, je trouve que ce logement est beaucoup trop chère pour ce que c’est !

Le logement est mal agencé, il n’y a pas beaucoup de place dans la cuisine. Il fait sombre à l’intérieur et aucune fenêtre ne donne sur le lac, c’est dommage. Pour une fois, les photos rendent beaucoup mieux qu’en réalité.

Enfin, on nous demande de faire le ménage (ou de le payer en plus) avec une liste d’instructions qui n’ont clairement pas été suivies par nos prédécesseurs.

En résumé, rien de rédhibitoire mais l’accumulation de plein de choses qui font que ce Airbnb valait 100€ de moins la nuit.

nous avons passé quelques jours dans cette maison et serions bien restés plus longtemps. Elle est spacieuse, bien agencée, et le lit confilortable. L’endroit est vraiment magnifique et il y a de bonnes possibilités de pêche. Nous reviendrons volontiers, c’était génial.

Kuvauksen mukainen perusmökki omassa rauhassa viehättävässä maisemassa. Sopiva kahdelle ihmiselle ja koirulille joille kohtalaisen haasteellinen maasto ei ollut ongelma.

Olimme ystäväni kanssa kaksi yötä Mikon ja Eijan ihanalla mökillä syyskuussa.

Mökki on siisti, lämmin ja tilavamman tuntuinen kuin kuvat antavat ymmärtää ja sieltä löytyy kaikki tarpeellinen. Mökin hyvinkin luonnontilainen ympäristö on aivan mieletön; luonto alkaa suoraan kuistilta ja hiljaisuus ja rauhallisuus on kaupunkilaiselle harvinaista herkkua.

Erityismaininta sähkösaunalle, joka lämpeni nopeasti ja löylyt olivat silti pehmeät ja hapekkaat! Sieltä oli ihana pulahtaa kylmään metsäjärveen uimaan 🙂

Vuokrattaisiin mökki ehdottomasti uudestaankin!

Mikko ja Eija olivat ystävällisiä ja joustavia. Kommunikointi oli nopeaa ja sujuvaa.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt! Die Kommunikation war sehr gut, haben schnelle und hilfreiche Antworten bekommen.

Die Unterkunft war dank der konkreten Beschreibung und Google Maps gut erreichbar!

In der Küche ist alles was man benötigt vorhanden (aktuell waren Salz, Pfeffer, Essig, Öl und Kaffee bereits vor Ort).

Simply a paradise. It was my first time in a mokki and I’ve read that many don’t have the essentials, electricity or running water which for us wasn’t ideal since we came from abroad and couldn’t carry everything for just few days. Mikko’s place is the perfect compromise between comfort and being in the middle of nowhere. We truly reset our body and mind there, the photos don’t make justice to the house and its surroundings, it’s incredible. The lake view will stay with me for a long, long time!

Beautiful serene spot overlooking a gorgeous lake and wooded area. The cabin is nestled deep in the woods with all amenities for a comfortable stay, including useful kitchen amenities to cook indoors, barbecue outdoors, a great rowboat for on the lake and a sauna (although we didn’t make use of the latter). We thoroughly enjoyed our time there rowing, swimming, bbq-ing and roasting marshmallows, buildings rafts out of sticks and moss with our daughter, listening to the different birds and animal calls and watching the moon shining over the lake in the evenings.

We had a wonderful stay here. The peace, clean water and fresh air was exactly what we wanted. Having coffee overlooking the lake in the morning, running through the shaded forest, picking bilburies and lingonberries were all highlights. Not to mention dipping in the lake after the sauna. Thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic location, would recommend to anyone coming to the region! Well hopefully be back ☺️

Aivan upea paikka luonnon keskellä, oli kaikkea mitä tarvitsimme.

This cabin is surrounded by the most beautiful nature. You get a rowing boat to discover the lake and will find your time here very relaxing, filled with swimming, collecting berries and grilling outdoors. The area is also very private. We would definitely come back!

Ihana, hiljainen ympäristö. Todella kauniit maisemat alas järvelle. Soutuveneellä pääsi tutustumaan järveen ja uiminen oli helppoa laiturilta. Nukkumaan mahtui hyvin ja keittiöstä löytyi kaikki tarvittava. Ruokailuhetkille oli useampi paikka, joista valita. Paikka tuntui yksityiseltä, vaikka lähistöllä oli muitakin mökkejä. Mustikoita sai maistella suoraan polun varrelta. Pienempien lasten kanssa saa olla varovainen korkeuseroista johtuen. Paikka soveltuu kuitenkin myös lapsiperheille. Myös yhteydenpito majoittajien kanssa sujui moitteetta. Suosittelen!

O tempo ajudou, apesar da instabilidade. Muita diversão remando no belíssimo lago na frente do chalé, seguido da tradicional sauna finlandesa. E muito contato com a natureza.

Ympäristö juuri sellainen kuin mainostettiin. Rauhallinen, hiljainen ja kaunis. Viiden tähden sänky ja muu mökki. Kaikki toimi intuitiivisesti.

Muuten oli kyllä oikein huippu kohde. Pieni miinus takan vasemman puoleinen huone aika spooky ja vaikka tiedossa oli ettei ole tv:tä nii ois semmone ihan mukava olla iltaisin.

Wir hatten auch noch schönes Wetter, was den zauberhaften, idyllischen Ort am See perfekt machte!Es wurde gebadet, gefischt und Beeren gesammelt.

Der Nationalpark ist in 1 Stunde erreichbar und auch andere Museen, so dass auch Abwechslung möglich war!

Wir kommen wieder!

Wir waren für ein paar Tage in der süßen Unterkunft. Das Haus ist traumhaft schön an einem kleinen See gelegen, der zum Baden umd Entspannen einlädt. Das Haus hatte alles was wir gebraucht haben (Kleine Küche, Wlan, Grill) und die Kommunikation mit Mikko war einwandfrei. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Vierailu Mikon mökillä sujui hyvin. Mökki vastasi kuvausta ja ennalta saadut ajo-ohjeet veivät hyvin perille. Mökki oli helppo löytää. Mökillä oli kaikki tarvittava vierailuun ja keskikesän viettoon. Mökki sopi erinomaisesti lautapelien pelailuun ja yhteiseen ruokailuun.

Wonderful place to stay, serene and quiet. The house is really cozy for a forest cottage (indoor toilets, WiFi, kitchen) and is excellent value for money. The bedding is comfortable and the house has all the modern amenities. The hosts are very helpful and responsive. I had a great time at the cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes nature, hiking, swimming and wants to spend a holiday enjoying the Finnish landscapes.

Kohde oli sitä mitä ilmoituksessa luvattiin. Ihanan rauhallista luonnon keskellä. Hyvin viihdyttiin koirien kanssa. Majoittajalta saatiin hyvät ohjeet ennen saapumista ja vastasi myös majoituksen aikana nopeasti viestiin.

Thank you very much! My wife and I had a wonderful few days at the cottage. There is everything you need for comfort. It is very quiet and very beautiful around. Lake from a fairy tale. Communication with the owners is very good, they responded quickly, all your wishes will be fulfilled.

Stilste plekje op aarde. Mooie natuur, adembenemend uitzicht vanop het terras. Prima om even te vertragen. De keuken is volledig uitgerust en de nodige voorzieningen waren aanwezig. De ruimte zelf is wel wat verouderd en voelt redelijk donker aan.

De locatie is goed beschreven en redelijk makkelijk te bereiken met gps.

Aanrader om tot rust te komen diep in de Finse bossen.

Upealla paikalla oleva mökki jossa kaikki toimi niin kuin pitikin. Mökki oli juuri sellainen kuin kuvauksessa luvattiin.

Olin etsimässä rauhaa ja hiljaisuutta luonnon keskellä ja sitä tämä mökki tarjosi! Aivan ihanaa kun etäällä asutuksesta ja isoista teistä ja vain 5 mökkiä koko järvellä ja nekin ihan mukavasti etäällä toisistaan. Järven vesi oli ihanan puhdasta eikä harmaa tai humuspitoinen.

Mökki oli puhdas ja peitot tuoksuivat hiljattain pestyiltä. Sisään kirjautuminen simppeliä ja samoin uloskirjautuminen.

Saappaat tosiaan kannattaa ottaa mukaan varuiksi jotta kivikkoisella alueella voi kevyemmällä mielellä talsia, itseltä nämä unohtui.

Ihana kaunis paikka rauhoittumiselle luonnon helmassa.

Tilava ja hyvin varusteltu mökki luonnonkauniilla ja rauhallisella sijainnilla, viihdyimme todella hyvin ☺️

Accommodations are pretty rustic— toilet options are composting toilet inside or outhouse outside. But it’s a beautiful, remote, and private location and the lake is great. A little over an hour from Tampere; the last section of the drive is through the woods and pretty fun.

We made all our food in the fire pit and took a sauna every night.

this is our all-time favorite cottage. The lake and the view is really something amazing. we’ve seen lots of cottages, but this one has its own special feeling!

Also, the inside bathroom is a big big plus combined with the running water. We absolutely love this place!

Hyvä majoitus kauniin kallioisen Niemijärven rannalla. Kohde on kuviaan parempi. Viestintä Mikon ja Eijan kanssa oli sujuvaa. Sopii hyvin pariskunnille, kalastajille, veneilijöille, suppailijoille ja retkeilijöille. Laiturilta pääsee hyvin uimaan, vesi on syvää heti päässä. Ranta ei ole sopiva pienille lapsille. Sähkösauna on ihan toimiva. Plussaa ritilällinen nuotiopaikka ulkona, pallogrilli sekä pimennysverhot.

Hyvin varusteltu mökki upealla paikalla. Uimavesi oli lämmintä juhannusviikon vierailullamme. Ranta ei ole kovin lapsiystävällinen, mutta kyllä meidän 4-vuotias uimaan pääsi.

Kommunikointi Mikon kanssa sujui hyvin ja sisäänkirjautuminen sujui mutkattomasti.

Mökki on hintaansa nähden varsin hyvä mutta ei ehkä lapsiperheille paras vaihtoehto rannan ja pihan puutteiden takia.

Mökki sijaitsee korkealla josta portaita pitkin käynti rantaan jossa laituri. Mitään varsinaista pihaa ei mökillä ole. Aikuisten keskinäiselle getawaylle kuitenkin täydellinen paikka!

The cottage is located in a dream place. Peace, tranquility and boat trips in a wonderful environment. We have slept and rested very well. Sailing in the boat that Mikko has left next to the cottage has been incredible. The communication with Mikko is excellent. The best place to disconnect. Thanks Eija & Mikko.

If you’re hovering about booking this place, just book it.

I stayed here with a friend for 3 nights and we wished we could have stayed twice as long. I am used to travelling in Finland but there is something special about Orivesi.

The location of the mökki (cottage) high above the lake means it has a wonderful view down and across the water.

Mikko and Eija have everything you need in the cabin – fast communication and a kind welcome. There’s also a beautiful outdoor deck that looks over the lake.

Stock up on food, drive to the cabin (we had a 4×4, this was useful on the gravelly track) and enjoy the peace of Orivesi. Swim in the lake, row the boat, use the sauna and cook by fire by night.

Also: very few mosquitos!

It’s the perfect place to be alone and away from the business of normal life.

Highly recommended and I would definitely return. Thank you!

We stayed at Mikko’s house for two nights with my wife and our little daughter while travelling across Finland. The house is located in an awesome silent area on a little hill by the lake, comfortably furnished as described. Parking right next to the house. Communication with Mikko was quick and easy. We would definitely like to come again. During our stay at the end of July there was surprisingly only few (nearly no) mosquitos.

This is a wonderful place for a quiet and relaxing stay in the forest. The views are amazing and the lake is clean and refreshing to swim in. The cabin is a lovely space and has everything you need to cook for yourself. Mikko is a fantastic host and quick with his replies. We definitely hope to return again soon!

This is the most calm and beautiful place in the world. If you are looking for an escape from the busy routines and city life, this place is for you. The cottage is really cute with a good sauna. Outside there is a terrace with amazing view to the lake and a fire place next to it to make some food on. The lake is really really calm and just big enough that it is nice to row around with the boat! We were looking for a place where we can truly calm down and recharge, well we found exactly that!

The nature is rough and beautiful, but it is good to note that if you have issues walking, you might have trouble walking down the hill. But for people with normal walking ability, it’s all good!

Ist a nice and simple place sorrounded by nature. if your looking for a queit place to relax enjoy forest, lake and sauna, this is a good option. You will need a car to reach it and to be able to see for example nationalparks or whatever you like to do.

This is a wonderful place! Mikko is an excellent host and everything was exactly as described…the nature and surroundings were beyond expectation. This is a place I’d like to return again and again. In fact, it was difficult to leave. If you want a place to take it easy, plan, contemplate life at the water’s edge and listen to the wind in the trees, I can’t imagine a better location. Juuri kiva mökki omiin tarpeisiin! Sai olla rauhassa, heittää aamuisin hölkkälenkit hiljaisuudessa jonka jälkeen suoraan uimaan. Koirat nauttivat myös paikasta, mikä oli itselleni tärkeä kriteeri. Uimapatjat tuli mukaan reissuun myös ja olivat kovassa käytössä. Iso plussa Mikolle nopeista vastauksista ja vuokraamisen vaivattomuudesta.

Dieser Ort ist einfach wunderschön, für alle geeignet, die einen Urlaub mitten in der Natur mögen. Der Ort ist ideal zum fischen( Ruderboot vorhanden) und die Natur zu geniessen. Die Cottage ist einfach aber gut ausgerüstet- vor allem die Küche lädt zum Kochen ein, evtl. Könnte noch Öl, Salz und Pfeffer zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Einzig mit dem Plumsklo ausserhalb der Cottage konnten wir uns nicht richtig anfreunden. Aber sonst war es wirklich wunderschön!

good place

If you are looking for a secluded place away from the busy life of our modern society, this is the place to go. Hike through the beautiful woods, take tours with the boat on the lake or just sit outside, enjoy a cup of tea, read a book and recharge your energy. This is one of the few places left on this planet where you still find untouched nature and no mass tourism. Mikko, our host is a great guy and has been super helpful and very responsive from the begin to the end. I highly recommend the location and would book it again at any time.
