Peace and privacy surrounded by nature
There are no other cottages on the island. Lights and a small refrigerator run on solar power, a wood-burning stove provides heat, and the lakeside sauna offers a traditional Finnish sauna experience. Firewood and two rowing boats are included.
SLEEPING
Two bedrooms and a sleeping loft
The bedrooms have 140 cm and 160 cm double beds. The sleeping loft accommodates 1–2 guests.
Bed linen and towels are available as an optional extra.
LAKESIDE SAUNA
Traditional washing in a wood-fired sauna
Water is heated in a sauna cauldron and mixed in a wash basin for bathing.
There is a composting outdoor toilet in the yard, and the cottage has no shower.
ISLAND AND BOATS
The rowing trip is part of the experience
The island is a 5–10 minute row from the parking area. Two boats are available for your use.
An electric outboard motor is available as an optional extra.

Sleeping
Two bedrooms and a sleeping loft. Maximum occupancy is 3+2 guests.
Electricity and water
Solar power for lighting and a small refrigerator. Washing water comes from the lake, and drinking water is collected from the mainland.
Sauna and toilet
Wood-fired lakeside sauna without a shower and a composting outdoor toilet.
Pets
Pets are welcome.
Arrival
The island is about a 400-metre row from the parking area.
Rental season
The cottage is available from May to September and is not in use during winter.

Electricity and internet connection on the island
Pielppa is on a private island. There is no mains electricity or fixed internet connection.
Electricity. The cottage has solar power and an inverter that converts it into standard 230 V electricity for small devices.
You can charge from the socket a phone, tablet, laptop, headphones, camera and other small devices. It works best when electricity use is moderate.
Do not connect high-powered appliances to the socket. Examples include hair dryers, kettles, irons, electric grills, microwave ovens and other high-powered appliances.
Internet. You can borrow a 4G mobile router from us. Mobile network coverage on the island varies by operator and weather conditions.

Ihana ja rauhallinen paikka, jossa koirakin nautti valtavasti! Paikka vielä kauniimpi kuin kuvissa. Mökissä oli hyvä tarvikevarustelu ja kivoja pelejä aktiviteetiksi ( mölkky, tikkataulu..)
Aivan loistava kohde koirien kanssa lomailuun. Saa rentoutua sekä koirat että omistajat. Kauniit maisemat ja hyvä sauna. Ja positiivinen yllätys oli se, miten viileä päämökki oli näillä kovilla helteilläkin.
Täysin luonnonhiljaista! Lukuunottamatta ilmeisesti aurinkosähköjärjestelmään liittyvän laitteen merkkiääntä, joka metallisesti surahtaa tasaisin väliajoin.
